About Nintendo Games

Starting from Nintendo's Color TV game series to the latest gaming console 'Wii', Nintendo is the oldest and most well-known company. The company began its journey with small businesses such as a love hotel and a taxi company, now they've become a successful brand in the gaming industry. After the success of the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System, the Nintendo 64 released with only two games, Super Mario 64 and Pilot Wings 64. After the Sony Play Station, the N64 sold the most units. In addition to TV consoles, Nintendo has dominated the handheld console market. With big hits such as the Game & Watch formats which featured single games such as Mickey Mouse and Donkey Kong, to the amazingly successful Game Boy series, Nintendo is the pioneer in the gaming industry. Over the years the competition arrived, Sony released Play Station 2, and Microsoft came out with the Xbox. After the launch of the PS2 and the Xbox, Nintendo launched the Game Cube. The console, compared to its competition is the most compact. The Game Cube can also connect to the Game Boy Advanced which the other consoles could not. When released, the Game Cube launched titles such as Luigi's Mansion, Batman's Vengeance, and many others. Nintendo decided, rather than making loads of games with average quality, they will develop selected games of good quality. Keeping this idea in mind, Nintendo Game Cube targeted the 'age-10 and under' market. Popular games such as Star Fox Assault, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Mario Kart: Double Dash became phenomenal hits with Game Cube. After Game Cube, next in line is the Nintendo Wii which will release sometime by November 2006.
